It is ‘Ghatti Ava Lucky’ – reason for this is that the film of Sankula Arts has traveled three years. It is one and half years on the script preparation and remaining one and half years on making and post production activities.

The title reminds the beaten rice (Avalakki) very famous in the friendship of Lord Krishna and Sudhama. There is relevance to it in the cinema.

A film by Sankula Creative Arts ‘Ava Lucky’ has got the U certificate for the film. The film based on rich Indian heritage and culture also focuses on the theatre group facing problem from the political domination of the country. 2400 frames for the film were shot for feature film category. It is children, youth and elderly people film. One of the producers Poornima feels the trained institute students are part of this film.

Dr Prashanth an Ayurvedic doctor has written a song on the teenage in this film. He has interest in theatre and art. The clinic he has to maintain is curtailing him to stay to his medicine profession. Key factor for actor in the film Krishna is chase scene in the film. He has learnt Karate, dance and music at this institute.

Ashok Nittur director of the film has looked at the negligence part of the theatre and drama. He is trained from Ninasam theatre institute. He is in front and behind the camera as story writer, choreographed theatre plays, dance and dramas. ‘Ava Lucky’ is his first independent film. He has penned the screenplay and dialogues besides direction.

SriKrishna, Narayan Swamy, Ashok Nittur, Preethi, Suman, Divya, Mahima, Hema, Martin, Prashanth, Manjunath Bhat Tumri, Shivananda Kota, Santhosh, JJ Sharma, V Halappa and others are in the cast. GV Umapathi is behind camera for ‘Ava Lucky’, Ismail Gonal has composed music, V Manohar and V Halappa penned lyrics while Shivakumar is editor. Sri Krishna, Poornima Ashok, Preethi Gangatkar are producers.
